What kind of companies do you work with?

How do I know which plan is right for me?
If you're just getting started and need support shaping your product, the Growth plan is a great place to begin.
If you already have a clear vision and want help with both UX strategy and design execution, go with Accelerate—it includes a monthly strategy session to align on goals and progress.

How fast will I receive my requests?
We typically turn around requests in just 3 business days or less. However, depending on scope and complexity, strategy and design work can take longer.
Larger requests are broken down on Butter's end. This applies to full-scale website or mobile app designs, UI/UX work, etc. You should expect to receive a reasonable amount of work every 24-72 hours until the entire request is done.
Is there a minimum commitment?
We offer month-to-month flexibility—you can pause or cancel anytime.
If you only have a single request, you can pause your subscription when finished and return when you have new design or strategy needs. There's no need to let the remainder of your subscription go to waste.
That said, we recommend a longer engagement for strategy or user research.
How does Framer development work?
Framer development is included with all subscriptions and is simply treated as a design request. As long as your website can be supported by the Framer platform, Butter will take care of the development to ensure maximum fidelity when it comes to the final product.
Once the website is fully developed, the site will be transferred to your account, where you will own it from that point forward. Therefore, a Butter subscription is not necessary to maintain your website.
Do you offer custom plans or project pricing?
Our focus is on subscription-based services for clarity and predictability. However, if you have a specific project in mind, let’s talk.
What if I don't like the design?
No worries! We'll continue to revise the design until you're 100% satisfied.
How does the pause feature work?
We understand you may not have enough design work to fill up entire month. Perhaps you only have one or two design requests at the moment. That's where pausing your subscription comes in handy.
Billing cycles are based on 31 day period. Let's say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you'll have 10 days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes! You can cancel or pause at any time before your next billing cycle.
Is there any design work you don't cover?
Yes. Butter does not cover any 3d modeling, complex animated graphics (gifs or videos), document, packaging or print design.
Are there any refunds?
Due to the high quality nature of the work, there will be no refunds issued.
